At Nacarum we have been doing what we love for over 23 years: offering an authentic gastronomic experience by the sea, in one of the most beautiful and untouched corners of the Andalusian coast, El Palmar beach. Our name, of Arabic origin, means "the reflection of the sun on the sea", and that is exactly what we are: light, flavor, tradition, and horizon.
Our restaurant is born from a deep respect for the environment, the maritime roots of the region, and local products. Located in a paradisiacal setting with privileged views of the Atlantic, we have transformed a 16th-century almadraba tuna factory into a place where history, nature, and soulful cuisine come together.
With more than two decades of history, our kitchen has evolved into a creative fusion of global flavors and local ingredients. We blend Andalusian and Gaditan traditions with Japanese, Thai, and Mexican influences, offering bold, colorful, and flavorful dishes full of personality.
We love to play with color, textures, and contrast: you'll find ingredients like mango, avocado, or chili mixed with fresh fish, organic vegetables, and modern techniques. Every dish is a sensory experience celebrating local products with a global perspective.
Our emblem is the wild bluefin tuna from almadraba. Each season we work directly with the local almadrabas to bring one of the world's most exclusive products to the table, treated with care and expertise. From prized cuts like morrillo and ventresca, to tartare, tataki, or reimagined classics — each recipe is a tribute to the raw ingredient and a desire to evoke emotion.
Nacarum is much more. Our menu revolves around zero-kilometer ingredients: organic vegetables from nearby farms, free-range retinto beef, fresh local seafood, and Andalusian wines that pair perfectly with the sea breeze. Each bite tells the story of the land we live in.
We offer one of the most spectacular terraces in the region, perfect for seaside lunches or sunset dinners. We also host unique events: weddings, private celebrations, or corporate gatherings in a magical setting, with capacity for up to 200 guests and a team that takes care of every detail.
